FAQs

When should I RSVP?

Please RSVP no later than February 1st, 2026 using the RSVP link in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend and will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you, however, we need to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, we have a dress code! Please kindly refer to the "Attire" section of our website for details of the dress code for all planned events.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 5 PM we recommend you arrive by 4:30 PM latest to ensure you find parking and are seated on time.

How do we get to the venue?

We'll have buses departing from Porta San Pietro in the heart of Lucca to bring you to each event; no need to worry about navigating the roads on your own.

Porta San Pietro is the grand archway on the south side of Lucca's iconic city walls. Built in the mid-16th century, it's one of the most beautiful entry points into the old city and a perfect place to start the celebration.

Pickup address: Sortita Porta S. Pietro, 55100 Lucca LU, Italy

Bus Schedule

Event Pickup Time

Welcome Party 5:45 PM

Wedding 4:15 PM

Pool Party 11:45 AM

Please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the scheduled departure. The bus will leave on time, and given our venue's location, it would be very difficult to arrange alternate transportation if you miss it. We'd hate for anyone to be left behind!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Passports?

Please do not forget your passports! Due to the laws and regulations of the European Union, please ensure that you check your passport expiration date. Most countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned date of departure.

What are the travel essentials I should bring?

Comfortable walking shoes are necessary for cobblestone streets, and a light jacket or scarf for cooler evenings. Don’t forget your passport and travel adapters (Italy uses type C and F plugs).

Are kids welcome?

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the children who are part of the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding!
